La Maison de Wakefield

La Maison de Wakefield is a charming 18th century stone house in the heart of south west France. Beautifully decorated with French linens, brocante finds, antique furniture and vintage treasures. Featuring a winding staircase, chandeliers and the original wide oak floors.

The property is based on eco-tourism e sustainability principles . Provisions are organic and vegan, including French toiletries, cleaning products and a deluxe Welcome Hamper with a bottle of local organic wine.

Located in the medieval ‘Plus Beaux Village’ of Martel, with a twice weekly market. Martel is surrounded by rolling hills, farmland and walnut groves, close to wineries and truffle farms.
